Robert G. Collins practiced law for 27 years before retiring in October 2023. At that time, he also retired from the United State Army Reserve as a Colonel (O-6) after serving our nation for over 39 years. He was an active member of the firm from 2010 to his retirement. Depending upon his schedule, he may be available to provide consults in legal matter, however he is not accepting new cases. His areas of practice include military law, criminal defense, traffic infractions, civil litigation, summary probate, wills/power of attorney documents, and family law matters. 

Mr. Collins’ prior legal experience includes serving as a former Assistant State Attorney in Dade County, Florida; working in the Office of the Public Defender as the Chief Assistant in Okaloosa County, Felony Supervisor in Escambia County, Misdemeanor Supervisor in Santa Rosa County; and serving as a Military Judge Advocate.  

In addition to private practice, he served in the U.S. Army (Active and Reserve) as a Judge Advocate, Special Forces Officer, Special Forces Enlisted Member, and Combat Engineer. He served as an enlisted member from the grades of E-1 to E-8; in the 82nd Airborne Division, 7th & 20th Special Forces Group, SMU, EUCOM, and INDOPACOM. He has served on the Holley by the Sea Board of Directors, Navarre Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Community Drug and Alcohol Council Board of Directors, First Circuit Bench/Bar Professionalism Committee & Panel, First Circuit Attorney Grievance Committee, and taught Legal Continuing Education Classes in the First Judicial Circuit of Florida. Mr. Collins is a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #4407, and a perpetual member of Gulf Breeze Masonic Lodge #347.
